The Journal of Insane Archaeology is designed to bring together archaeologists, anthropologists, and other affiliated individuals who not only do the work (shovel-bums, recovering pot-hunters, government employees - we know you have the time!, consultants, professors, etc.), but find fun in what they do. If you don't like our insanity, then go find your own!

- I have been involved in archaeological and environmental research for the past ten years. I have worked on various projects in Guatemala, Mexico, the Great Basin, and the American Southwest. Welcome to the Newly-designed, peer-reviewed, Journal of Insane Archaeology. This is our attempt to capture those articles and diatribes that you would like to write, but know that nobody would ever publish them! We welcome any and all "almost journal worthy" entries and papers. Vent (but not too much), play, postulate crazy theories, share interesting data, and let's talk about what we all love and enjoy in a not so serious way.
